Appeal After Sexual Assault In Market Harborough

Police are appealing for information after a woman was touched inappropriately in Market Harborough in the early hours of yesterday.

The victim, in her 20s, was walking along Ashley Way towards Rockingham Road just after midnight when she was approached by a man who touched her.

He then ran off towards Kettering Road.

Officers say the man is described as around 6ft 5ins tall, skinny and was wearing a black, hooded jacket and black jogging bottoms.

PC Robin Bonell, the investigating officer, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who was in Ashley Way in the early hours of yesterday morning and saw someone matching this description.

“I’m particularly keen to speak to taxi drivers or anyone who has a dashcam installed in their vehicle. Likewise, I’d like to speak to anyone who has CCTV cameras installed at their property.

“Any information you have could help my investigation.”
