Appeal After Serious Collision on A426

A woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious crash on the A426 in the Harborough district.
Police say she was a passenger in a black Hyundai i20 car involved in a head-on collision with a red Peugeot Partner van near Cotesbach at around 7.50om on Saturday.
Both drivers were also taken to hospital with serious injuries, and officers are appealing for information.
The Peugeot was travelling along the A426 (Rugby Road) from the direction of the A5 towards Lutterworth and the Hyundai was travelling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, saw either vehicle driving beforehand, or has dashcam footage.
