Witness Appeal After Cyclist Dies In Crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist died in a crash with a car on the outskirts of Desborough yesterday lunchtime.
The man, aged 85, who was riding an electric powered tricycle, was involved in collision with a silver VW Polo on Stoke Albany Road, near to the Albany Shed Company base, at about 1.15pm, and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or may have dashcam footage from the area around the time.

An Air Ambulance was sent to the scene and the road closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and a Police accident investigation was carried out.
