Appeal After Caravan Stolen From Husbands Bosworth

Police are appealing for information after a caravan was stolen from Husbands Bosworth airfield late last night.

Officers were alerted just before 11.30pm after the thieves were seen cutting through a wheel-lock, before hitching it up to a vehicle, and driving off the site on Sibbertoft Road.

The Police helicopter was scrambled in a bid to track the offenders, although they were not traced.

The caravan that was stolen

Anyone who saw the white Sterling Europa 495, which had various items of the owners property inside, being towed in the area around the time, is urged to contact Police.

A Leicestershire Police spokesman told Hfm: Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and we would ask anyone with information, who has seen the caravan or knows of its whereabouts to call 101, quoting incident 627 of 4 May.”
