Written by HFM News on 19th January 2023
Arsonists have tried to set fire to children’s play equipment in Market Harborough’s Welland Park.
They placed cardboard under the equipment and set it alight on two separate occasions this week.
Luckily the fires did not spread.

The latest incident is thought to have happened between 6.30pm and 7pm on Tuesday and the other on Sunday evening.
The play area has been closed for maintenance work this week and Harborough District Council is urging anyone with information about who was responsible to contact Police.
They also want people to report any suspicious behaviour in the area.
