Written by on 9th August 2021

Reports of anti-social behaviour in parks across Harborough continue to fall.

Police patrols were stepped up and meetings held with residents after problems earlier this year, including at Little Bowden Recreation Ground and parks in Kibworth.

Sergeant Pete Jelbert told Hfm a lot of work has being taking place to tackle the issue, including Harborough officers becoming the first in Leicestershire to use photo and video sharing service Snapchat, to reach more young people.

PCSO Tushar Joshi, Simon Welband, Tom Day of Community Partnership at Harborough District Council, chairman Phil King and PC Steve Winn at the Warwick Road Park in Kibworth.
