Another Milestone As 250,000 Covid-19 Vaccinations Given

Over 250,000 people have now had a Coronavirus vaccine in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Nearly 56,000 injections have been administered in the last seven days.

Figures out today also show more than 168,000 jabs have been given in Northamptonshire.

In Leicestershire, health teams have now started giving the vaccine to the over 65s.

Anyone in that age group, who has not yet been offered the inoculation, can book to have it at Leicester’s Hospitals – more details HERE
