Amy Loses Her Hair For Charity!

Written by on 25th February 2019

A young Market Harborough woman has raised over £1,000 for charity after having her hair cut off!

Amy Gibbs, 23, whose hair was down to her waist, lost it on Saturday night in front of an audience at the Beer House.

BEFORE & AFTER

She held the fundraiser for the Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of her uncle Simon Wood – who she never met – after he sadly died from the disease aged just 20.

And the hair cut off isn’t going to waste – it’s being sent to the Little Princess Trust, which will use it to make wigs for children going through cancer treatment.
