Written by HFM News on 17th February 2022
An Amber Weather Warning has been issued for the Hfm Region ahead of Storm Eunice arriving tomorrow.
The Met Office says very strong winds of up to 60mph are expected across Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, with the risk of flying debris, damage to buildings and power cuts.
East Midlands Railway is advising people not to travel tomorrow, as trains will have to travel much slower than usual because of high winds.
The company will operate as a reduced timetable and says services from Market Harborough could be further disrupted if trees and debris get blown onto the tracks.
The Weather Warning will be in force from 5am until 9pm.
