Over 22,000 Vehicles Clocked Speeding Through East Farndon

Regular speed checks are to be carried out in East Farndon after over 22,000 vehicles were found to be breaking the 30mph limit through the village in two weeks.

Northamptonshire Police erected monitoring equipment following concerns from residents about speeding traffic, to see if regular checks needed to be carried out.

85% of vehicles were found travelling at over 37mph.

Mobile speed enforcement will soon take place by the force’s Safer Roads Team.
