Church Langton New Homes Plan Rejected

Plans for up to four self-build homes in Church Langton have been rejected by Harborough District Council.

Councillors refused the proposal for The Causeway at a meeting last night, agreeing with planning officers that the development would harm the character and appearance of the area and conflict with local planning policies.

The application sought permission in principle for a minimum of two and a maximum of four plots for self-build and custom housebuilding.

Previous proposals for development on the site have also been refused by the council and a planning inspector.
