Warning After Pets Attacked by Loose Dogs in Market Harborough

A Market Harborough dog owner is warning others after two of her pets were attacked by four loose dogs.
The incident happened on Airfield Road on the Wellington Place estate just before 9.30am yesterday, when two German Shepherds and two Dachshunds set upon her Pug and Chihuahua, which were both on leads.

The Chihuahua escaped from its harness and ran off, followed by the other dogs, but was found around 45 minutes later.
It is believed the dog had hidden in undergrowth.
Luckily, neither dog suffered serious injuries.
Police are investigating the incident.
