Over 500 Properties Back On Power After Outage

More than 500 properties in and around Market Harborough were left without power after a fault on a high-voltage power line.
The outage affected the Leicester Road area of the town, as well as Lubenham, Gartree and East Farndon just after 3.45pm yesterday.

All electricity supplies were restored just over an hour later.
National Grid Electricity Distribution thanked customers for their patience while engineers fixed the issue.
It was the second power cut to affect the area in less than a week – last Friday an outage left more than 680 homes and businesses without electricity in Market Harborough and Little Bowden.
