Fault On Power Line nr Little Bowden Causes Power Cut

A fault on a power line near Little Bowden caused a power cut affecting more than 680 homes and businesses in Market Harborough this morning.
The electricity went off shortly after 10.15am, with areas including the Ashley Way estate, Riverside Industrial estate and Welland Business Park affected.
National Grid Electricity Distribution said engineers worked to fix the fault and reconnect supplies as quickly as possible.
Power has now been fully restored, with the company thanking customers for their patience.
