Crews tackle field fire

Firefighters tackled a large outdoor fire in Market Harbrough yesterday after flames spread to a container and a nearby structure.

The blaze off Leicester Rd, initially reported as covering around half a football pitch, was dealt with by four Leicestershire fire crews and a water carrier.

Crews were at the scene for more than three hours.

No-one was injured.
