The transformation of a historic flour mill in Market Harborough is nearing completion.

The former mill, built in the 1860s, is being converted into six flats as part of the wider Millstone Court development on the former Harboro Rubber Company site, creating more than 80 apartments.
The building had stood vacant for years and had fallen into disrepair before the redevelopment began.

The multi-million-pound scheme, being delivered by Leicester-based developer Mitchian Welland Ltd, began in October 2024 and has transformed a parcel of land at the corner of St Mary’s Road and Kettering Road which had been derelict for decades.
The former mill is being converted as part of the wider Millstone Court development.
The apartment blocks alongside the River Welland will feature riverfront balconies, while residents will also have access to a landscaped rooftop terrace.
The development is now nearing completion, marking the latest stage in the regeneration of the former industrial site.
