Aldi begins opening hours trial at Market Harborough store

The Aldi store in Market Harborough is taking part in a trial of shorter opening hours.
The supermarket on Rockingham Road is now closing at 9pm instead of 10pm, Monday to Saturday.
Aldi says only a very small number of stores are involved in the trial, which sees closing times brought forward by one hour.

The company says the change is part of a review of its store operations to ensure it continues meeting customer needs while supporting colleagues.
An Aldi spokesperson said: “A very small number of Aldi stores are participating in a trial of adjusted opening hours.
“Participating stores will close at 9pm instead of 10pm, Monday to Saturday – a change of just one hour, meaning most customers will not be impacted.
“We regularly review our store operations to ensure we’re meeting customer needs, while supporting our colleagues.”
Sunday opening hours remain unchanged.
