Masterplans To Be Drawn Up For Town Centres

Harborough Council is recruiting a design team to masterplan Market Harborough and Lutterworth town centres.

The contract for the work is worth an estimated £75,000.

Bosses say the project aims to boost regeneration and identify new uses for underused areas, improve transportation, and identify future management arrangements for key public spaces.

The project also aims to improve the appearance of the town centres by making them a more ‘welcoming and attractive environment’ to increase visitor numbers.

Residents and businesses will be part of any proposals put forward during a public consultation.
