Driver Admits Causing Serious Injury in Market Harborough Crash

A man has pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a crash in Market Harborough.
The two-car collision happened on Lubenham Hill shortly after 5.20am on November 24th last year and left a woman with serious injuries.

Emergency services attended the scene and firefighters were required to free one person who had become trapped in a vehicle.
Simon Paine, 51, of West Street, Welford, admitted the offence when he appeared before Leicester Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Magistrates imposed an interim driving disqualification ahead of his sentencing at Leicester Crown Court next month.
