Further Arrests Made Following Serious Assault in Desborough

Police have made two further arrests as part of an ongoing investigation into a serious assault in Desborough.
A 47-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman, both from Desborough, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, following an incident on the High Street during the early hours of Monday morning.
A 16-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in the assault and was taken to hospital for treatment. An 18-year-old man also sustained cuts and bruises.
Police cordoned off part of the High Street while investigations were carried out.
Both the man and woman have since been released on conditional police bail pending further enquiries.
A 23-year-old man arrested earlier in the investigation on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent has also been released on bail.
Police cordoned off part of the High Street near a bus stop outside a row of shops close to the junction with Rothwell Road while investigations were carried out.
Officers say enquiries into the incident are continuing and are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
