Permission Granted For Latest Greggs Plans in Market Harborough

Plans for a new Greggs in Market Harborough have moved forward.

Approval has now been given for signage and air conditioning units on the proposed store at Welland Business Park, in a new unit fronting Rockingham Road.

How the new Greggs store is expected to look

Planning permission for the single-storey building was granted last year by Harborough District Council, which has also given the go-ahead to the latest plans.

The bakery chain is expected to create 16 new jobs and operate the store with opening hours of 6am–7pm Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm Saturday, and 8am–5pm Sunday.

Greggs has yet to confirm when construction will begin or when the store is expected to open.
