Body Found In Search For Missing Student

A body has been found by Police searching for a university student from Market Harborough who went missing in Lincoln.
While formal identification has yet to take place, officers believe it to be Connor Calleja, 20, who had not been seen since the early hours of Sunday.

Connor, a student at the University of Lincoln, disappeared after being denied entry to a nightclub and is believed to have been attempting to make his way back to his accommodation.
He was last seen on CCTV in an area of the university campus.
Lincolnshire Police said a body had been discovered today during a search of the Foss Bank – a body of water close to the Brayford Pool in Lincoln.
A spokesperson added: “Connor’s family have been made aware and are being supported by specially trained officers.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
“We ask the public and members of the media to respect the family’s privacy at this very difficult time.”
