Welland Eco Wardrobe To Host New Year Sale

The Welland Eco Wardrobe in Market Harborough is opening its doors for a huge special sale in the New Year.

The project run by Welland Park Academy has created a shared “wardrobe” of dresses, suits and accessories for special occasions, helping people look great while keeping fashion affordable and sustainable.

The collection includes more than 300 dresses and 70 suits, many of them brand new, along with shoes, jewellery, bags and ties.

Styles range from modern to vintage, with something to suit every taste.

The Eco Wardrobe is open to the wider community as well as Welland Park Academy students and to make room for new donations, a clearance sale will take place on Saturday 3rd January 2026, with dresses and suits starting from just £10.

The sale will be held in the Academy’s Octagonal Hall, from midday until 2pm.

Anyone looking for a prom outfit or something special for a formal event is encouraged to come along and browse.

Donations are also welcome throughout the year, so if you’re having a clear-out and have suitable items, the Eco Wardrobe would be delighted to receive them.
