New Life For Long-Vacant Market Harborough Shop

A long-standing vacant shop in Market Harborough will reopen as a new furniture store after Christmas.

Furniture Warehouse will open on December 27th in the former Argos premises in St Mary’s Place, which had stood empty for more than five years.

The new two-storey store has created a number of jobs and will be the company’s eighth branch.

Furniture Warehouse Director Simon Ainge said “We’re delighted to be opening our eighth Furniture Warehouse store at St Mary’s Place in Market Harborough and becoming part of the local community.

“It’s been wonderful to welcome new team members from the area, and we’re proud to be creating local jobs while bringing great value on beautiful sofas, dining room and bedroom furniture.

“To celebrate our arrival, our Winter Sale begins on December 27, and we look forward to welcoming local customers into our new store.”
