Plans Unveiled To Improve Key Junctions in Market Harborough

More details have been revealed about plans to improve key road junctions in Market Harborough.
Leicestershire County Council is investing £5m over the next five years in a bid cut congestion and make roads safer for cyclists and pedestrians.

The first scheme will be along Rockingham Road, with plans including adding an extra turning lane on Gores Lane, where it meets Rockingham Road.
Another proposal is to make Clarence Street one-way in a northbound direction from the St Mary’s Road/Kettering Road junction to Albert Road.
Work is set to start on the first scheme in late 2026 and details of the plans were revealed at drop-in events in Market Harborough this week.
