Burglary At Community Cafe In Kibworth

There has been a break-in at The Well community café in Kibworth Beauchamp.
It happened just after midnight at the base on the High Street, after glass in the front door was kicked through.
The Well community cafe had to close today
An attempt was then made to steal a till, which was empty, but it is believed the burglar or burglars were scared off when the alarm sounded.
The café and adjoining shop have been closed today to allow police to investigate the scene and for repairs to be made.
