New Affordable Housing Plan for Kibworth

Up to 32 new ‘affordable’ homes could be built in Kibworth Beauchamp under new plans submitted to Harborough District Council.

Clarendon Land and Development has applied to build the homes on around two acres of fields off Fleckney Road, close to Cuckoo Drive.

According to documents submitted with the application, the developer’s vision is to create “a new neighbourhood of up to 32 affordable homes that fits comfortably within the existing setting.”

The plans also include open and play spaces, as well as a sustainable drainage system designed to manage surface water.

The developer says the scheme will “deliver a high-quality development that complements Kibworth’s character, while providing much-needed new homes in a well-connected and attractive environment.”
