Leicestershire’s smallest library has opened – in a red phone box in Billesdon!

Villagers have already donated around 200 books for the renovated kiosk on Church Street, which was taken on by the Parish Council after BT removed the phone.

It’s been kitted out with shelves, plus solar-powered lighting and heating to keep the moisture out and the books in a good condition, and is open 24/7 for people to borrow and return books!
