Written by on 20th September 2025

Repairs have been completed on the A6 near Market Harborough after subsidence caused part of the road to sink.

The road has now been repaired

The northbound carriageway developed a hump between the Little Bowden turn at Clack Hill and the A427 Rockingham Road roundabout and highway bosses pledged action last month.

Leicestershire County Council carried out overnight repairs and resurfacing to fix the problem.

The subsidence had created a hump in the road
