Man Jailed For Assaulting Police Officer

A man who assaulted a police officer in Market Harborough has been jailed for four weeks.
Ducelle McFarlane, 30, of no fixed address, admitted attacking the officer on Windmill Road on May 22nd.
He pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker at Leicester Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
McFarlane was also ordered to pay £150 in compensation to the officer.
