New Sainsbury’s Set To Open Next Month

A new Sainsbury’s Local convenience store is set to open in Market Harborough early next month.

It will be the first shop on the Wellington Place housing estate and be located within a ‘local centre’ on Harvest Road.

The food retailer is creating 16 jobs by opening the store and a Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We are pleased to announce the opening of our newest Sainsbury’s Local store in Market Harborough, set to open in early October.

“We’re proud that this new store is creating local jobs and providing a convenient place for the community to buy their groceries.

“At Sainsbury’s, we are passionate about providing good food and offering greater choice to even more of our customers.

“Customers can also make the most of our Argos Click and Collect service, making it easier than ever to order a wide range of products online for pickup in-store, including items from our popular Habitat and Tu collections.”

A coffee shop is also planned for one of the units in the local centre, which has been constructed over recent months and also includes apartments and housing.
