Repair works at Foxton Locks are set to be completed in the next few days.
The Canal and River Trust has used the temporary closure of the historic flight to boats to fix broken paddles, which regulate the flow of water into the lock chambers.

Harborough District Council has supported the Trust with a £10,000 contribution from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) towards the cost of the work.
The Grade II listed site was temporarily closed to boats in July amid concerns about water supply from reservoirs, after a drought was officially declared in the East Midlands.
