Fundraising Busking Events In Town Centre

Two fundraising busking events are taking place under the Old Grammar School in Market Harborough town centre this weekend.

There are performances this afternoon to support 14-year-old Daisy Dale’s forthcoming humanitarian trip to Cambodia and tomorrow musicians and singers will be raising money for LOROS Hospice.

Sunday’s music between 1 and 4pm will feature artists who are part of the town’s community record label, Somewhere Records, including: Alex Liptrot from Direct Injection performing with Deiah Marie Music, as well as Zachary John, Joe Pike and Scarlett J.

The events are part of Creative Harborough’s Busk! Initiative, which sees performances at the Undercroft (below the Old Grammar School) thanks to a partnership with the owners of the building, Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity.
