Motorcyclist Dies Following A4304 collision

UPDATED: A motorcyclist who was involved in a collision in Lutterworth Road, North Kilworth on Saturday (16th August) has died in hospital.
The incident happened at 2.50pm close to the entrance of Buckwell Lodge farm.
It involved two vehicles – a black Ford Fiesta and a green Kawasaki ZX400.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, was not hurt.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and it’s just been revealed he passed away yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
A 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving – and has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
The investigation is being led by specialist officers from the Leicestershire Police‘s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU).
PC Ellise Timmins from the SCIU, said: “Sadly this incident has left a man with serious injuries, and he is currently in hospital in a critical condition.
“We are working to establish the full circumstances and as part of our enquiries we are looking to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area and saw the collision occur or has captured any dash cam footage.”
