In Bloom Judges Tour Market Harborough

Judges from the East Midlands In Bloom competition toured Market Harborough today.
They visited various locations, including where the town’s In Bloom team have been busy preparing floral displays over recent months.
Market Harborough In Bloom have won the Large Town category of the contest for the past three years and have entered the contest again with support from Harborough District Council and its environmental contractor FCC Environment.
Judge Liz Alun-Jones told HFM she was impressed by what she saw:

The judges visited areas including Welland Park, the Memorial Gardens and Friendship Park in the town centre, railway station, St Luke’s Hospital and Ridgeway Primary Academy.

Cllr Peter James, Chairman of Harborough District Council, accompanied the judges during the visit and praised the work of the in-bloom team.

The results of this year’s East Midlands In Bloom competition will be announced in September.
