Arrest After Man Knocked Unconscious In Robbery

Two men have been arrested after another man was knocked unconscious and injured during a robbery in Rothwell.

Police say the victim aged in his 20s was attacked by two men in Manor Park, near to the junction with Clicker Close, between 5pm and 5.30pm on Saturday.

He was assaulted and suffered a laceration to his ear before having his mobile phone, bank card and cash stolen.

Men aged 19 and 26 from Rothwell have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail pending further enquiries.
