Soaring Temperatures Prompt Earlier Bin Collections

Bin collections across Harborough will start earlier in a bid to protect staff from soaring temperatures.

Residents are being asked to make sure their wheelie bins are ready for collection by 6am.

The move by Harborough District Council aims to help staff from its waste contractor FCC Environment complete rounds earlier, before hotter temperature later in the day.

The earlier collections will start tomorrow and run until June 27th.
