A Market Harborough shop owner who chased a thief has spoken of her relief that he is now behind bars.
Rose Jarvis pursued Kyle Slaney after he grabbed her day’s takings of £500 from the till at Hanworth hat shop on Adam and Eve Street on April 30th.
The 39-year old, who got away but was later arrested, had carried out a similar theft at the Swallow Cottage Chinese takeaway on Coventry Road the day before, stealing £80 from the till.
