By-Election Likely In Market Harborough

A by-election is set to take place in Market Harborough following the death of a long-serving councillor.
Liberal Democrat Barbara Johnson passed away in April aged 82, after representing the town on Harborough District Council for 18 years.
The council has published a vacancy notice for the Logan Ward and a poll will take place if two electors within the district request it.
