Royal Visit For Harborough Morsbags Volunteers

Representatives from Harborough Morsbags have rubbed shoulders with royalty after being handed The King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
The dedicated team were given the award last year, which is the equivalent of an MBE for voluntary groups, and part of the prize was an invite to a garden party at Buckingham Palace.

The group have made over 48,000 shopping bags from unwanted fabric and given them away to the community since launching it 2008.
