Drivers Warned Of A6 Bypass Closure

Drivers are being warned the A6 Desborough/Rothwell bypass will be closed during the day next week for essential maintenance work.

The road will be shut in both directions between 9.30am and 3pm each day from Tuesday until Friday.

North Northamptonshire Council will be carrying out the maintenance work, which will include carriageway repairs, the cleaning of drains and a litter-pick.

The bypass will be shut from junction 3 of the A14 near Rothwell to the B576 junction near Desborough and a diversion route via the B576 through both towns will be signposted during the closure.
