Two talented young boxing brothers from Market Harborough will take to the ring at the England Boxing National Schools Championships on Sunday.
Jimmy and Billy McCann will represent the East Midlands in the pre-quarterfinals, after excelling in previous rounds of the top competition.
The pair are members of the City of Leicester Lightning boxing club and have been putting in a huge amount of work to prepare.
12-year-old Jimmy told HFM they have been training hard:

Winning the competition has been the first of many for boxers including George Groves, Daniel Dubois, Adam Azim, Terri Harper, Caroline Dubois and Chloe Watson.
The brothers will be up against the country’s other top young boxers at the event in Newcastle upon Tyne as they hope to progress to the next stage.
11-year-old Billy, a pupil at Foxton Primary School, told HFM he can’t wait to get into the ring and continue his boxing career:
Jimmy also previously attended Foxton Primary School and headteacher George Norman said: “The boys have been putting in a huge amount of work – travelling around to different gyms to get good sparring and prepare properly.
“Billy’s currently in Year 6 here at Foxton, and it’s lovely to see him stepping into the ring alongside his older brother, who left us last year.
“From our end, we’re all behind them. The whole school community is rooting for Billy and Jimmy – we’re all incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved and how hard they’ve worked to get here.”
The brothers are continuing a family boxing tradition, as family members including their Dad James competed to a high level in the sport.
James told HFM he is proud of his sons:
