parkrun To Celebrate 10th Birthday

Market Harborough parkrun celebrates its 10th Birthday tomorrow.

Hundreds of people of all ages regularly take part in the Saturday morning event in Welland Park and will celebrate the milestone with a piece of birthday cake after tomorrow’s.

Organisers are also using the occasion to show their support for the Jubilee Foodbank in Market Harborough, by encouraging participants to take along a tin of food to donate.

Kenny Anderson is an Event Ambassador for parkrun and has helped organise the Harborough event since just after it launched in 2015.

He spoke to HFM’s Nick Shaw ahead of the tenth anniversary:
