M&S Rules Out Move Into Aldi Premises

Marks and Spencer has ruled out opening in the Aldi premises in Market Harborough when it becomes vacant later this year.
The retailer has placed the town on a ‘wish list’ of locations where it would like to open a new food store, but has told HFM it has no plans to take on the site on Springfield Street.

The premises will be vacated in the autumn when Aldi moves to a new larger store currently being constructed on Rockingham Road.
M&S had previously said it would consider taking on an existing shop unit or look at a new-build store in Market Harborough, if a suitable premises or site could be found.
