Man Appears In Court After Motorcyclist Hurt

A man has been handed an interim driving ban after a motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Market Harborough town centre.

The male rider was taken to hospital for treatment after being involved in collision with a car on High Street last Friday evening.

A 44-year-old man has appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.

He was given an interim driving disqualification, ahead of sentencing in April.

Charges of failing to stop at the scene of a collision and driving with no insurance were withdrawn.
