Arrest After Man Assaulted In Alleyway

A man needed hospital treatment after he was assaulted in Rothwell.
The victim aged in his 60s suffered a head injury during the incident on Sunday evening.
It happened in an alleyway between Evison Road and Elizabeth Road at around 6.45pm.
A 44-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assault has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
