Rockingham Castle Event Cancelled Due To Storm

Rockingham Castle has been forced to cancel this weekend’s Victorian Christmas event because of Storm Darragh.

It was due to be held today and tomorrow.

A spokesperson said: “Due to the severe weather forecast for this weekend, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Victorian Christmas event on Saturday 7th December and Sunday 8th December.

“The safety of our visitors and staff is always our top priority.

“We deeply regret any disappointment this may cause and thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe, and we hope to welcome you back to Rockingham Castle soon.”

People with advance tickets have been emailed about the cancellation and will be fully refunded automatically within 3-5 working days.
