‘Leak’ Caused Closure Of Supermarket

A leak forced the closure of the Waitrose store in Market Harborough for a time on Saturday.

Shoppers were unable to use the store on Springfield Street during the morning, with the doors re-opening at around 1pm.

A Waitrose spokesperson told HFM: “We’d like to thank our customers and Partners for their patience while we temporarily had to close Waitrose Market Harborough for a few hours on Saturday morning.

“This was due to a leak in the shop.

“We reopened as soon as we were able to and are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
