Police Investigate Spate Of Burglaries

Police are investigating a spate of burglaries in Market Harborough, Desborough and Broughton Astley.

Cars were stolen from outside two of the homes targeted, while jewellery and cash was taken from others.

A BMW 3 series and Mini Cooper were taken after burglars stole keys after entering a house in Measham Close on the Farndon Fields estate in Market Harborough during the early hours of last Sunday.

A BMW 1 series was also stolen after the keys were taken during a burglary in Dunkirk Avenue, Desborough between 9am last Saturday and midnight on Monday.

Between last Saturday and Sunday homes in Lubenham Hill and Western Avenue, Market Harborough were also broken into, along with two properties in Farleigh Close, Broughton Astley.

Leicestershire Police and Northants Police are appealing for information relating to any of the burglaries.
