Market Harborough Author Publishes First Book

A Market Harborough author has published his first book and will launch it tomorrow morning.

‘Four Tales of Intrigue’ features a collection of four stories which Peter Kershey says will keep readers guessing until the end.

‘In Conversations with the Moon’ follows the story of Harborough psychologist Paul Warbutton, who finds himself in the depths of despair when his wife unexpectedly leaves him.

Overcome with grief, he drowns his sorrows in alcohol and one day calls out to the moon. To his amazement the moon answers back… and then the conversations begin.

‘Castle Steps’ follows Oxford graduate Aisling who manages a multimillion fund. Despite her successes at work, she cannot seem to shake off her gambling addiction.

Meanwhile, lonely Corby businessman Russel Steel has a recurring vision of meeting a beautiful dancer. Are their paths destined to cross?

‘In Dream’ is the story of a woman’s life takes an unsettling turn when a mysterious photo appears on her phone. But when dreams and waking moments become entwined, is it all in her mind, or is there something else involved?

‘In Abrielle’ tells follows Ella’s record-breaking scuba dive leaves her incapacitated, needing full-time care from her husband who then resorts to weekly outings with other women. One day he offers a lift to a young woman, walking in deep snow. But what prompted Abrielle to walk alone, in wintry conditions, dressed in flimsy clothes and shoes?
